Shooting Script

1. Tracking shot, medium shot, hand-held (but smooth) - shot following an unknown character, as she walks, denoted with ginger hair and a denim jacket. Atmosphere is lively and there are lots of people present, natural lighting


2. Camera comes to a stop, still. Wide angle - Main character sitting on bus bench, no people present, deserted, natural lighting

3. Graphic match, still, wide angle- the main character is framed with the same wide angle. She is seen with lots of junk food around her. The TV screen which is out of shot flashing white light onto her face, the rest of the shot is dark / low-key lighting


4. Close up - Clock?

5. Long, wide, establishing shot - guided-bus way


6. Close up, still shot, from side profile - character turns head around


7. P.O.V shot, shaky/ handheld, camera turns - denotes the footpath and bushes behind her


8. Medium shot - bushes and leaves rustling


9. Close up, still shot, front on face - character turns face back so that she is facing the path. Her face is normal but then quickly changes, widening her eyes at what is before her.


10. Handheld, medium shot following behind - a character approaching the girl with a quick fast pace and stride


(dialogue?) "Hello? Can I help you?"  "Wh-h-at-t are you doing?"


11. Low angle (looking up) / slanted - she stabs the knife into her


12. Medium shot, head shot, front on - the girl looks down at the knife and then looks up at the figure in shock


13. Handheld, the camera starts moving slightly - as it looks at the girl. Her face/ mouth falls in shock
and her skin turns pale


14. Over the shoulder of victim, medium shot - the victim attempts to lift up her hand to grab the collar of the figure. The figure pulls out the knife, letting the victim bleed out


15. Quick shots, shaky, 'disorientated' shots - as the figure runs away


16. Medium shot - of victims face, you see her looking down in horror


17. Close up of wound, blood, shaking of hands - as the victim touches the area in attempt to stop the release of blood


18. Medium, long shot - You see the victim looking around quickly and she attempts to find help


19. Medium shot (closer to previous shot but not as close) - H-el-l-pp me, help me! Someone help me

20. P.O.V from victim showing the setting, moving around - as the victims moves her head around to look to see if anyone's in sight


21. Medium shot, silhouette/ highlighted by the street lights, low angle - you see the victim hunching over as she is about to throw up blood, she  starts coughing and coughs up blood


22. Close up or P.O.V of blood splattering/ pouring out of mouth


23. Medium shot, front on from character - holding stomach, gasping for breaths


24. Over the shoulder/ from the back/side - you see her reach into her pocket, fumbling about


25. Close up - the phone falls to the floor


26. Medium shot of upper body, handheld (swaying) - the victim falls onto her knees, (which is out of shot), so she falls out of shot


27. Birds-eye view - whilst on her knees she tries to reach out for her phone


28. Close up of trembling hand, mere inches away from the phone, but still so far. You can see the song that is playing on the screen of the phone


29. Birds-eye view - from her knees you see her fall on to the floor, face-first. The blood pours out creating a pool around her

30. Medium shot - establishing the location of a therapy session/room, the main character and the fact that it's a new day (light flare/the sun shines through the window).


31. Close up of face, bottom left corner - character looking off-screen at supposedly where the therapist is sat. Therapist is talking in background as camera is focused on the main
