Photoshoot
Here are a few of my unedited photoshoot images for he magazine front cover and double page spread. I got a variety of poses such as her standing up or sitting down, and with or without a prop. I think using the flower (the prop) worked effectively as it meant that the actor could engage with something rather than just standing there. Other interesting magazine poses included her putting her arms up near her face in sporadic angles to make the pose interesting. As my magazine is focused on targeting women and presenting ideas of glamour, beauty and fashion, I had my model dress up in a fancy sparkly dress to really capture that charm.
With the images I will have to crop and edit them in Photoshop to fit my magazine. One thing that I'm planning to do is play around with the brightness and colour, as half of her face is dark than the other.
I think the shoot went well as I got a diverse range of shots, which I can play around with and put into my magazine. I think it presents the actor as herself compared to her character (who is much more emotional complicated and different) as well as being professional. In some of the images you can see the actor smiling or laughing which shows that she is not necessarily use to doing photoshoots like this, however it was fun and exciting.
